The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Wii

Action Adventure

Zelda: Twilight Princess is the latest console installment of the Legend of Zelda series. It doesn't fail to disappoint and is a great addition to the series.

If you've played a Zelda game before, you know what to expect. Multiple dungeons, cool characters, challenging puzzles and numerous items.
In game you start off as Link, who is a goat herder in a small village. The mayor requests that you travel to Hyrule Castle Town to deliver a package to Princess Zelda, but before you can advance on your journey you are thrust into the world of Twilight, as a wolf. You meet a helpful Twili named Midna and you begin your journey to rid the world of the Twilight and destroy the forces of evil.

The plot is truly first grade, but that isnt the only excellent feature in the game. The graphics are good, while only being Gamecube quality, the character models and animations are superb. The detail and art style of the world of Hyrule is amazing, with areas being well made and always easy on the eye.

The sound is also good, with great music and old school chimes and sounds accompanying opening a treasure chest, or defeating a returning Zelda series enemy. The only area where more work could have been done in the sound department would be added voice acting, but even still we are all used to reading text in a Zelda game.

The game is quite lengthy, with the main quest taking 30-40 hours to complete, plus numerous side quests and hidden dungeons. Overall you are getting what you payed for, if not even more so.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess remains one of the Wii's top tier games, and if you own a Wii and don't have this game, go out and buy it as soon as you can. It is a must have for any Wii owner.
