Got My New Babies

FedEx finally dropped off the new additions to our family (NO, not the kid, she's been with us for a while):



I'm really impressed with the apparent condition - cleaned up and painted / looking down the throat of the horns, the diaphragms look shiney new.

I'm thinking the $280 (to the door) wasn't too bad !! Opinions ???

I gave them a blow with my portable compressor (120#) using my blow gun (~1/8" opening) and only the longest horn blew. If I blocked it off I would get minor air flow / hissing noise from the other two horns.

Is it reasonable to assume this was due to lack of air volume / flow ???

MORE VOLUME. Don't get discouraged. Untill you get a 1/2" line hooked uo to it, it's gonna sound a bit funny. Mine still do, due to the fact that I'm only running a 3/8 line at the moment. Once you get everything 1/2" you'll be waking the neighbors in the next town over.
Can't wait to see the install and HEAR those bad boys.

What air pressure are you running; e.g. 200# in tank regulated to 140# or less; or are you running 140# unregulated.

I'm worried about regulating and reducing volume.

How do you like your compressors?

200psi in the tank. 120psi reg to the horn.
